Integrative Analysis of Golf's Execution and Predictive Factors Embedded in the Model
[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to provide useful information and knowledge to establish an effective instructional program for continuous golf participation and practice. [Method] The subjects of this study were wireless sampling of 538 people who agreed to participate in the study. For data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and stepwise regression analysis were performed. [Result] The integrated model predicts golf practice frequency with 16% of explanatory power, of which 'intention' significantly predicts golf practice frequency with the highest explanatory power. The duration of golf is predicted by about 16% of the explanatory power, of which “attitude” significantly predicts the golf duration by the highest explanatory power. The integrated model predicts golf performance with 16.1% of explanatory power, of which “attitude” significantly predicts golf performance with the highest explanatory power. [Conclusion] Models characterized by group sympathy and body shape explain golf participation and continuity. Starting from a different perspective than the existing models, the degree of feasibility in explaining the course of golf execution and golf continuity in a Korean context depends on the characteristics and circumstances of the research subject.
