주의초점의 자율성지지 연습이 골프 피치샷 정확성과 자기-효능감 및 정서적 경험에 미치는 영향
[목적] 본 연구는 주의초점의 자율성지지 연습이 골프 피치샷 정확성과 자기-효능감 및 정서적 경험에 미치는 효과 를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. [방법] 연구 참여자는 자율성 지지와 동반집단의 두 그룹으로 구분하여 각각 12명씩 무 선 할당되었다. 실험은 사전검사, 습득단계, 파지 및 전이검사의 순서로 진행하였으며, 습득단계에서는 집단 유형에 따라 골프 피치샷의 주의초점을 차별적으로 제시하였다. 실험과제는 플라스틱 골프공을 활용한 10m 거리의 피치샷 이며, 측정 변인은 수행 정확성, 자율성 지각, 주의초점 선호도, 자기-효능감, 그리고 정서적 경험으로 선택하였다. [결과] 첫째, 주의초점의 자율성 지각수준은 자율성지지 집단이 더욱 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 자율성지지 집단은 연습 과정에서 외적 주의초점을 더욱 선호하는 경향을 보였다. 셋째, 피치샷 정확성과 자기효능감은 자율성지지 집단이 파지검사에서 더욱 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 정서적 경험의 부정적 정서는 자율성지지 집단이 더욱 낮게 나타났다. [결론] 주의초점의 자율성을 제공하는 연습은 골프 피치샷 학습 과정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 기술 수준이 낮은 초보자에게도 주의초점의 선호도를 고려한 운동학습 프로그램의 필요성을 시사한다.
The Influence of Attentional Focus and Autonomy Support on Pitch Shot Accuracy, Self-Efficacy, and Emotional Experience
[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of attentional focus and autonomy support on pitch shot accuracy, self-efficacy, and emotional experience. [Method] Participants were randomly assigned to the autonomy support group(choice) and the yoked group(no-choice), 12 participants each. The experimental task was to hit a pitch shot of 10 meters using a plastic golf ball. The experiment was organized in the order of the pre-test, acquisition, retention/transfer test. During the acquisition phase, attentional focus on the pitch shots was presented differently to each group. [Result] First, the level of autonomy perception of attentional focus was higher in the autonomy support group. Second, the autonomy support group showed a preference for the external focus of attention during practice. Third, in the retention test, the autonomy support group showed higher pitch shot accuracy and self-efficacy. Lastly, the autonomy support group showed lower negativity in emotional experience. [Conclusion] Practices that provide autonomy of attentional focus have a positive effect on learning pitch shots, suggesting the need for a practice program that considers the preference of it.
