골프 대학생 대학생활에 관한 질적 연구
[목적] 본 연구는 골프를 전공하는 특성화 대학에 재학 중인 학생들의 학교생활에 대해 질적 연구를 통해 알아보고 자 진행되었으며, 대학 내 학생이 의무적으로 기숙사 생활을 하고 있는 학생들은 어떠한 문화적 특성을 지니고 있는 지에 대해 사회문화적 관점에서 해석하고자 한다. [방법] 연구참여자는 남녀비율로 비선수출신과 선수출신으로 나누 어 각각 1명씩, 학년별 2명으로 총 8명을 연구참여자로 선정하였고, 학교의 강의실과 휴게공간 등을 이용하여 심층 면담을 진행하였고, 면담시간은 면담시 최소한 1시간 이상 학생별 6회 이상을 진행하여 자료를 수집하였고, 이렇게 수집된 원자료는 귀납적 분류 방법을 이용하여 자료를 분석하고 이를 영역별로 분류하였다. [결과] 수집된 자료를 분 석하여 다음과 같은 결과가 도출되었다. 첫째, 학생들의 학교생활은 골프실력향상을 위한 수업 참석과 학교시설을 이용하여 골프실력을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들은 기숙사 생활을 통해 역할, 태도, 규범, 규칙 등을 배우는 과정을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생들은 골프 지식과 실력을 향상시키는 과정에서 동아리 활동, 방 학 중 학교생활, 선수 인큐베이팅 시스템 등을 통해 골프 특성화 대학만의 독특한 문화를 만들어 나가는 것으로 나 타났다. [결론] 학생들은 기숙사 생활을 매개로 골프선수 특유의 개인주의적 성향이 공동체주의 성향으로 바뀌는 과 정을 겪었으며 그 과정에서 자신과 타인의 이익을 동시에 추구하면서 상생을 추구하는 공동이익 문화가 형성되었다.
A Qualitative Study on Golf University Students Campus Life
[Purpose] This study was conducted to investigate the school life of the students attending Korea Golf University (KGU) in a qualitative study design. In particular, it is intended to examine the campus of the students living a compulsory dorm life, find out what kind of culture students majoring in golf form during the college years, and interpret it from a sociocultural perspective. [Method] Participation were selected 8 students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, and the raw data thus collected were analyzed using inductive categorization methodology, followed by classification by domain. [Result] First, students' school life consisted of attending classes to improve golf skills and improving golf skills by using school facilities. Second, students experienced the process of learning roles, attitudes, norms, and rules through living in a dormitory. Third, in the process of improving golf knowledge and skills, students created a unique culture unique to golf-specialized colleges through club activities, school life during vacation, and player incubation. [Conclusion] Through the dormitory life, the students went through the process of changing the golf player's unique individualistic tendency to communitarianism.
