국내에서 개최된 프레지던츠컵의 스포츠 거버넌스에 관한 연구
[목적] 본 연구의 목적은 국제대회의 개최에 있어 효율성 및 효과성을 극대화하기 위해 국내에서 개최된 프레지던츠 컵의 사례로 스포츠 거버넌스에 대한 사후분석을 탐색적으로 진행하였다. [방법] 결과 도출을 위해 한국언론진흥재 단의 기사 통합 검색시스템인 빅카인즈(BIG KINDS: BIG Korean Integrated News Database System) 데이터베이스 수 집된 데이터를 바탕으로 Eisenhardt & Graebner(2007) 사례연구 방법론의 절차적 순서에 따라 스포츠 거버넌스 사후 분석을 제시하였다. [결과] 본 연구의 결과 1) 국내에서 개최된 프레지던츠컵의 미흡한 스포츠 거버넌스 체계, 2) 프 레지던츠컵 개최국 비용 부담 원칙의 형평성과 스포츠 거버넌스, 3) 스포츠 거버넌스 역량의 부재로 이어지지 못하 는 프레지던츠컵의 ‘반짝 효과’, 4) 동적 역량(Dynamic Capability)을 통한 국내 골프 산업의 스포츠 거버넌스 체계 정 립의 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. [결론] 본 연구는 국내에서 개최된 프레지던츠컵의 스포츠 거버넌스에 주목하 여 심층적인 자료 분석에 입각한 체계화된 사례연구를 수행하여 탐색적인 사후분석을 진행하였다. 결론적으로, 효과 적인 스포츠 거버넌스의 측면에서 체계적인 의사결정을 통한 장기적으로 지속 가능한 성과를 위한 전략의 수립과 실 행의 필요성을 체계적으로 정리하였다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 향후 국제 스포츠대회를 유치하여 거버넌스를 구 조화하여 운영하는 데 중요한 참고 자료의 기능으로 활용될 수 있다.
A Case Study on the Sports Governance of the Presidents Cup in Korea
[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to conduct an exploratory post-hoc analysis of sports governance in the case of the President's Cup, which was held in Korea. [Method] The procedural sequence of Eisenhardt & Graebner's (2007) case study methodology was rendered based on the data collected from the BIG KINDS (BIG Korean Integrated News Database System) database. [Results] The results of this study revealed 1) the inadequate sports governance system of the Presidents Cup in Korea, 2) the equity and sports governance of the Presidents Cup host country cost-sharing principle, 3) the 'glitter effect' of the Presidents Cup that does not lead to a lack of sports governance capacity, and 4) the need to establish a sports governance system for the domestic golf industry through dynamic capability. [Conclusion] This study focused on the sports governance of the Presidents Cup held in Korea. Conclusively, this study systematically summarized the need to establish and implement strategies for long-term sustainable performance through systematic decision-making in terms of effective sports governance
